Peter West-Robinson served his apprenticeship with a well know Watch & Clock Maker in Crewe Cheshire. Having left school at 15, Peter was given the opportunity to "join the trade". Peter's father, Ron West-Robinson, was always tinkering with old clocks at home and that is probably where Peter found his interest and passion for Horology.

What we do
From antique clock service and repair to vintage and modern mechanical watch repairs, Second Time Around combines traditional techniques with modern precision to ensure your timepieces are in expert hands. Every repair is warranted for 12 months.

Second Time Around is more than just a business; it's a lifelong dedication to the art of horology. Based in Leighton Buzzard, Peter West-Robinson brings over 52 years of expertise to every repair and restoration, ensuring exceptional quality and service. Peter left the trade for a few years as his main occupation, however, he continued his interest as a hobby, only to return this year as a small business, hence the name "Second Time Around"
