A handsome late-19th/early-20th-century antique mantel clock, housed in a richly carved dark wooden case with turned columns, decorative finials, carved floral details and an attractive gallery to the top.
The clock is fitted with a Winterhalder & Hofmeier (W&H Sch) German movement, a respected maker of high-quality mechanical clock movements. The ornate brass dial features Roman numerals and decorative gilt spandrels, complemented by elegant blue-steel hands.
